ECB cuts rates for the first time
The deposit rate falls to 3.75 per cent.

On 6 June 2024 the ECB cut its key rates by 0.25 percentage points, the first cut since 2019.
The bank did not pre-commit to a path and will decide meeting by meeting based on data.
