ECB lifts deposit rate to four per cent
The tenth consecutive hike – possibly the last.

On 14 September 2023 the ECB raised its key rates by another 0.25 percentage points. The deposit rate now stands at 4.00 per cent.
The bank indicated that rates may have reached levels that, maintained for long enough, will help return inflation to target.
